Community Rules

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Talam should support adventurers, craftsmen, merchants, settlers, outlaws, faction loyalists, and rivals without making the community unsafe. These rules apply to game chat, names, support channels, official Discord spaces, testing groups, and other Talam-operated services.

Respect other people

  • No harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, discriminatory abuse, sexual harassment, or encouragement of self-harm.
  • No doxxing or sharing another person’s private information.
  • No impersonating staff, moderators, or other players to deceive or harm.
  • No spam, disruptive flooding, scams, malicious links, or knowingly false security warnings.

Play fairly

  • No cheats, bots, macros that automate gameplay, packet manipulation, unauthorized clients, exploit tools, or evasion of server authority.
  • No item duplication, economy manipulation through defects, account trading, real-money trading, or knowingly benefiting from an exploit.
  • Report serious vulnerabilities privately. Do not demonstrate them against other players or public services.
  • Role-play, rivalry, crime, PvP, and faction conflict remain subject to game mechanics and these rules.

Names and content

Names, chat, housing signs, and submitted content may not be obscene, hateful, deceptive, infringing, or designed to evade filters. Staff may rename or remove content that disrupts the setting or community.

Reports and enforcement

Send reports to support@talamgame.com with relevant names, time, location, and evidence. Do not organize public harassment around a report. Enforcement may include guidance, warnings, content removal, mute, kick, item recovery, rollback, suspension, or ban. Severity, history, evidence, safety, and attempts to evade enforcement may affect the outcome. Appeals may be submitted through Support, but repeated or abusive appeals may be closed.

Private Alpha access is discretionary. Protecting players, test integrity, and infrastructure takes priority over continued access.
